What You’ll Do
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you'll be a core member of our founding ML team, and you'll:
Build and scale intelligent systems to understand and automate healthcare documents (referral forms, faxes, PDFs, clinical notes, etc.)
Design, train, fine-tune, and deploy models across OCR, NLP/NLU, document understanding, and agentic systems.
Develop and manage pipelines for data preprocessing, model training, and continuous evaluation.
Fine-tune large foundation models (e.g., LLMs, vision-language models) for domain-specific tasks.
Work closely with product and engineering teams to ship end-to-end ML-powered features.
Contribute to the design of our agentic AI platform — including prompt engineering, orchestration logic, and performance tuning.
Drive efforts in model monitoring, retraining, and scaling in production (we deploy real models, not just prototypes).
What We're Looking For
3–7 years of hands-on experience in machine learning with exposure to OCR, NLP, or agent-based systems.
Strong foundation in deep learning, transformers, and modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, OpenAI APIs, etc.).
Experience working with unstructured data, especially documents and natural language.
Track record of building and deploying production-grade ML models — not just research or toy projects.
Comfortable with data engineering, model lifecycle management, and infrastructure tools (e.g., Docker, FastAPI, Airflow, Weights & Biases).
Bonus: Experience in healthcare tech, medical NLP, EHR integrations, or clinical data.
