We are Coral
We automate healthcare's administrative work so patients get care faster.
When Ajay Shrihari's family member faced a medical emergency, the real battle wasn't medical, it was waiting weeks for paperwork approvals. Around the same time, Aniket Mohanty watched a friend forced to leave the country because he couldn't get a doctor's appointment in time.
Different stories, same realization: the US healthcare crisis isn't clinical, it's administrative.

Friends who became co-founders
Ajay and Aniket met at IIIT Hyderabad, later worked together at LimeChat building automation tools for enterprises. When they reconnected in late 2023, they saw an opportunity at the intersection of their skills: Ajay's robotics and AI research background, Aniket's medical image processing expertise.
They didn't want to build another broken automation tool. They wanted to build something that actually worked in healthcare's messy reality.
In 2024, they founded Coral.

How we build: embed, learn, ship
Before writing a single line of code, the team spent months embedded with clinic staff. Watching intake coordinators battle faxes. Seeing prior auth specialists juggle multiple portals. Understanding why "just automate it" never works.

Accuracy over speed
In healthcare, 85% accurate means 15% of patients get hurt. We only ship what hits 99%+.

Integrate, don't rebuild
Providers don't need another system to learn. We work with their existing workflows and tools. Value on Day 1.

Humans in the loop, always
Technology augments clinical staff, it doesn't replace them. Their judgment is why care gets delivered safely.
Where we're going
Healthcare is just the beginning.
The foundation we're building, AI that reliably handles messy, unstructured workflows in high-stakes environments, has applications far beyond healthcare. Insurance claims. Banking operations. Government services. Anywhere critical decisions are trapped behind paperwork.
But first, we're laser-focused on healthcare. Since launching, we've expanded into infusion centers, DME providers, specialty pharmacies, and radiology practices. We're building infrastructure that lets providers scale without sacrificing patient care quality.
Our vision: a healthcare system where administrative work happens invisibly in the background, providers focus entirely on patient care, and no one waits weeks for life-saving treatment because of paperwork.

Built by people who care
We're a team that believes technology should serve people, not the other way around. We move fast, but we never compromise on accuracy. We're ambitious about scale, but we never forget that behind every document we process is a real patient waiting for care.
Are you an engineer, operator, or designer who wants to fix one of the most broken parts of our healthcare system, we're hiring.
