What You’ll Do
You will bring specialist domain knowledge in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) workflows covering ordering, supplier operations, payer/billing processes, documentation requirements to help shape trycoral.ai’s automation of DME-related administrative workflows.
Provide subject-matter expertise in DME workflows: supplier intake, prior auth for equipment, eligibility, documentation, billing (HCPCS/HCPC I codes).
Review and annotate DME-specific data for model training and validation: equipment orders, provider documentation, payer rules for DME.
Work with product/engineering to map DME workflows into automation logic, design exceptions, define success metrics for DME automation.
Train internal teams on DME-specific processes and integrate DME domain knowledge into product roadmap discussions.
What We're Looking For
5+ years experience in the DME industry (supplier, provider, payer or operations role).
Strong understanding of DME coding, documentation, reimbursement regimes and workflows.
Ability to translate complex operational DME rules into clear product/technical requirements.
Excellent collaboration and remote-working skills.
Preferred
Experience with prior authorization for DME, workflow automation in supplier environments.
Familiarity with healthcare data standards/formats relevant to DME.
